GENERAL MEETING FOR APRIL

"HOW TO INCORPORATE THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE
INTO PRESENTATIONS"

Presented by
 Garet Qualls, Surprise Engineer

Garet Qualls, Surprise EngineerABOUT THE SPEAKER...

Garet was born and raised in London, England and moved to the US when he was 10. He now lives in Tampa, FL with his wife, Liz, and their 2 boys, Hudson and Ryder. In Garet's free time he likes to play golf and watch his favorite football(soccer) team, Arsenal.

Garet has been involved in public speaking since he started speaking at church as a teenager. He has been actively involved in Toastmasters since 2012, National Speakers Association since 2014, and has spoken in corporate environments since 2006.

Intrigued by magic since age 7, Garet started by learning card tricks and got more involved in the "darker side" of magic in his 20's. Mentalism or mind reading involves a variety of techniques including suggestion, body language, and predictable social patterns.

After practicing mentalism for several years, Garet became intrigued by the subconscious mind and the things that can be accomplished through hypnosis. Rather than using it to embarrass or poke fun at participants, he uses it to show the true power of the human mind.

Power Networking:

Power NetworkingPower Networking Luncheon
Power Networking is a very powerful relationship building event. This is a unique opportunity to join dozens of Professionals for one-on-one networking with many other business people in the North Tampa area.

Would you like to meet a month's worth of professional new contacts over lunch? Do you have a service or product that the world MUST hear about? Is your company the best thing since sliced bread? Build new business relationships! Create electric momentum for your business! This is "speed networking" with a twist.

This most effective One-of-a-Kind networking format is as follows. There will be 4 people seated at a table. Each person at the table has the opportunity to tell everyone else at the table about their business or organization. After everyone has spoken at that table then 3 of the 4 people go to a different table and repeat the process. Timers are used to make sure that everyone has equal time to speak and has a chance to go to all tables.

What makes our system better than most is that we provide a different icebreaker (question/topic) to be incorporated into your discussion at each table. We also attempt to have people change tables in a way that they will be speaking to different people each time. The object is to talk to everyone in the room one-on-one and have the opportunity to build business relationships rather than just pass out business cards or do your 30 second elevator speech.

Some Advantages of this format:

  • One-on-One Networking with Everyone in the Room!
  • Build New Business Relationships!
  • Create Electric Momentum for Your Business!
  • Meet and greet in a better, faster, easier way!
  • Leave your 20 second elevator speech at the door!
  • Ice breakers will be provided to give this networking event a twist that will keep everyone interested!
  • Take your networking to a new level!
  • Create dozens of new contacts!
  • Fun, Energizing, Motivating!

Power Networking is a Professional Networking Event that will motivate, energize and leave you with dozens of new contacts. This event is held intermittently throughout the year. Watch your emails and visit this page to find out when the next one will be scheduled.

UPCOMING POWER NETWORKING EVENTS:
