Slogan
Be sure you have a slogan listed for your business or organization. The slogan will help get your business in front of more people with no extra cost to you. It is a benefit of your membership. This becomes a part of your directory listing online and in the bi-annual printed directory. The space allotted for that field is 25 words or less. It can be any group of words that reflects what your business is about. Not only does this slogan indicate who you are and what you do, but it brings attention to your business with each word. The words in the slogan are connected to the search engine so your business will come up when someone does a search using one of those words. You may add a slogan or change your current slogan at any time by simply contacting the chamber office at info@northtampachamber.com or 813-961-2420.

Category
Have you found that the category where you have your business listed just doesn't quite describe who you are or what you do? If you do not see a category in use that fits your business, we can set up another category. Keep in mind this is part of the search engine. If someone was looking for your service/product, what would be the most likely subject they would be thinking? i.e. legal service, insurance, security, bank, etc. We have an unlimited number of categories available and can set up new ones as required to represent your specific business. The category does need to be brief and general. Just specify in 1-5 words what you think best describes your business. So if you are not happy with your current category, consider changing it. Simply contact the chamber office at info@northtampachamber.com or 813-961-2420 to discuss the possibilities.

Membership is based on number of employees
Each membership may have two contacts listed in the chamber member directory. Although there is only one vote permissible for each membership, all employees of the member business are considered members of the chamber. Any number of these employees can attend all meetings and events as a representative of the member business. Only one person within a membership can hold a voting position on the board, but all members can be involved in committees and actively participate in events.

Name BadgesName Badges
One name badge is provided with each membership. It will be for the first contact on the application form. Be a proud member of the chamber and wear your name badge to all your meetings. Each name badge includes the chamber name and logo, your business name, and an individual name.

You can purchase additional badges for $9.00 per badge at any time. The only limit on the number of badges purchased would be based on the number of employees indicated on the application form. For your convenience, you can order the additional badges and pay online by credit card. You need only provide the individual name(s) that should be on the additional badge(s) in the comment section.

Need a replacement? Lost your name badge? Have a name badge with the old logo (Been a member for awhile, haven't you?) Order a new one. Like to have a spare to keep in your vehicle? Remember, these name badges are not just for chamber meetings. You can wear them anywhere. They have your name and your business name and show that you are a proud member of the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Labels
You have a new item or special to promote, want to send invitations to a special event, or want to provide information about your service or product. To send a mailing to all the chamber members, simply request a set of labels from the chamber office for only $25 a set! For your convenience, you can order labels and pay online.

Directory online
The directory online includes your member name and contact information for up to two persons. It also provides links to your website and email addresses. Your slogan which is connected to the search engine is listed on the directory. If you offer "member to member" discounts, that is also in the directory listing in addition to being accessible in a separate listing from the homepage through the dropdown under Membership Information. If you have an ad online, there will be an icon "view ad" for easy access by visitors plus accessibility on the homepage through the dropdown under Membership Information.

Review your member information online regularly to be sure that it is current so potential customers/clients can readily reach you. Changes are made in real time. Contact the chamber office at info@northtampachamber.com to update your information.
